Before they were the beloved voices of TUOHK, Professor Tuee and Mrs. Tuee were rivals in academia — each determined to outsmart the other at every faculty quiz night. Legend has it they first met during a heated debate over whether luck or logic played a bigger role in student success.

Professor Tuee, flamboyant as ever, strutted into the lecture hall waving his red bowtie like a flag of brilliance. Mrs. Tuee, cool and clever, corrected his grammar before he’d even finished his opening sentence. Sparks flew — not romantic ones at first, but the kind that come from intellectual combat.

Over the years, their competition became collaboration. The Professor would invent new challenges, and Mrs. Tuee would calmly solve them, often with a witty remark that left him speechless. When they both accepted positions at The University of Hard Knocks, fate stepped in. During a faculty fundraiser (which, ironically, involved balancing equations and balancing teacups), Professor Tuee accidentally spilled his entire flask of ink over Mrs. Tuee’s lecture notes. Rather than scolding him, she laughed — and for once, the Professor had no clever comeback.

That laugh was the start of everything. They began co-teaching courses in “Applied Wit” and “Experimental Luck,” discovering that together they made the perfect team — his chaos matched by her calm, his curiosity anchored by her confidence.

When TUOHK launched its official board game, there was no question who should represent the academic heart of the experience. The creators simply said, “Let’s make them the narrators — the ones who’ve seen it all.”

And so, the now-famous duo became the guiding voices of every TUOHK student, cheering you on, teasing your answers, and occasionally arguing about who’s in charge of the faculty coffee machine.

Their love story is one of mutual respect, gentle rivalry, and the shared belief that learning should always come with laughter — even if it starts with a spilled bottle of ink.
